Toxic foam floating on the Yamuna River in Delhi’s Kalindi Kunj area ahead of Chhath Puja has raised pollution concerns. BJP leader Shehzad Poonawalla blamed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for the pollution, while local authorities have started spraying chemical defoamers. Additionally, thick smog after Diwali has pushed the city’s air quality into the ‘very poor’ category.
