Chief Minister Siddaramaiah urged Kannadigas to take pride in their 2,000-year-old language and converse in it across all levels. He highlighted the need for fair representation in central taxes and announced the conversion of Mysuru’s Attaara Kacheri into a Kannada museum. Pro-Kannada organizations in Bengaluru rallied against Hindi exams in schools.
