India is set to expand its aviation sector with the modified ‘Ude Desh Ka Aam Naagrik’ (Udan) scheme, targeting 120 new destinations and 4 crore passengers over the next decade. The scheme will also support helipads and smaller airports in hilly areas. The development of 50 tourist destinations and visa-fee waivers is expected to boost air travel.
