Mobile security firm iVerify discovered five new Pegasus spyware variants on iPhones and Android phones. A scan of 2,500 devices revealed seven infections dating back to 2021, suggesting the spyware targets not just high-profile individuals but ordinary citizens. The spyware grants complete device access, stealing sensitive data without user interaction.
