Trump caught lawmakers off guard when he announced Fox News host and US Army veteran Pete Hegseth will lead the Pentagon. Then he picked Florida Representative Matt Gaetz to lead the Justice Department despite a House Ethics Committee investigation into allegations of sex trafficking.
