Evangelical Christian pastor Bajinder Singh was sentenced to life imprisonment and fined Rs 1 lakh by a special court in Mohali. Singh was convicted of raping a woman in 2018 and had previously served time for a murder conviction. He blackmailed the victim using a recording of the assault.
