Karnataka’s economic surveys over three years have repeated content verbatim, particularly in sections about government schemes and urban development. Despite a change in administration, only the data tables were updated. The Directorate of Economics and Statistics claimed the responsibility lies with individual departments for the lack of updated analysis, leading to criticisms of their approach.
