Security camera footage released by the California Department of Insurance on 13 November showed a man in a bear costume entering and damaging luxury cars. Authorities also released images of the costume used in the incidents. Four residents of Los Angeles were arrested and accused of falsely claiming a bear caused the damage, defrauding three insurance companies of nearly $142,000.
