On December 27, the Israeli military targeted Hamas fighters near Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia, following the deaths of five hospital staff members. The IDF claimed the hospital was used as a hideout for terrorists. Hamas denied any military presence there, accusing Israeli forces of storming the facility and evacuating patients and staff. The World Health Organization condemned the attack, stating the raid rendered the hospital inoperative, further dismantling Gaza’s healthcare system. Iran, Jordan, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia condemned the destruction. n18oc_crux
