Israel’s security cabinet is set to decide on whether to accept a proposed ceasefire in its war with Hezbollah, as per reports. Speaking on condition of anonymity, an Israeli official told AFP the security cabinet “will decide on Nov. 26 evening on the ceasefire deal.”The security cabinet is likely to convene for a meeting to discuss the deal at 5:30 pm (Israel Standard time), as per Israeli media reports.Israeli media reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was likely to endorse a US ceasefire proposal. The text of the ceasefire was finalised on Nov. 25, according to a report on Israel’s Channel 12.The report added that “something drastic” would have to happen for the ceasefire to fall apart before the meeting.
