Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky urged NATO to grant Ukraine membership within its internationally recognized borders during a Sky News interview on Nov. 29. He emphasized that no partial NATO membership offer has been made for territories under Ukrainian control. Zelenskyy argued that granting membership would help de-escalate the conflict but stressed that any invitation must respect Ukraine’s full sovereignty. He rejected the notion of excluding Russian-occupied areas, as it would imply recognition of those territories as Russian. n18oc_crux
