AAP MLA Naresh Balyan was detained by the Delhi Police for questioning over an alleged extortion case from 2023. BJP released an audio clip accusing Balyan of conspiring with a gangster to extort money from a businessman. BJP leaders criticized AAP, accusing it of harboring criminals and corrupt practices while AAP blames BJP for rising crime in Delhi.
