Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) conducted raids on Amazon and Flipkart warehouses in Delhi, seizing thousands of uncertified products. Over 3,500 electrical goods were confiscated from an Amazon warehouse while 590 pairs of sports footwear were seized from a Flipkart subsidiary. These actions are part of BIS’s broader drive to enforce quality standards across the nation.
