Unidentified individuals hurled bombs and opened fire outside BJP leader Arjun Singh’s residence in Bhatpara, causing injuries to a youth. Singh accused TMC councillor Sunita Singh’s son of the attack, while TMC’s Jagaddal MLA accused Singh’s group of instigating violence. Police and RAF personnel were deployed to restore order, finding empty cartridges and live bombs on-site.
