CBFC has ordered 17 changes to the Malayalam film ‘Empuraan’ starring Mohanlal due to backlash over its portrayal of the 2002 Gujarat riots. The changes were requested after criticism from BJP and RSS members, with the film’s producers agreeing to make necessary edits to address concerns.
