Prime Minister Modi calls North-East India ‘Ashtalakshmi’. He addressed the Bodoland Mahotsav in Delhi. The government allocated a special package for Bodoland’s development. The Prime Minister expressed satisfaction with the progress made in Bodoland after the peace accord. Over 10,000 youths in Assam chose peace over violence. The Karbi Anglong and Bru-Reang agreements were also highlighted.
