India’s cricket head coach Gautam Gambhir will briefly return home for ‘personal emergency’ amidst the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. He’ll be back before the second Test starts in Adelaide on December 6. The team, including captain Rohit Sharma, who recently arrived, will practice in Canberra for a pink-ball tour game under the guidance of assistant coaches and support staff.
