Surat police apprehended Kirti Patel, a notorious history-sheeter, after a year-long search in connection with a Rs 2 crore extortion case. Patel, despite being a fugitive, maintained a public presence on Instagram. She and her accomplices allegedly honey-trapped a builder, using compromising photos to extort money. Patel faces multiple FIRs across Gujarat for various offenses, including attempted murder and extortion.
