Tragedy struck the Maharani Laxmi Bai Medical College in Jhansi again as two more infants, rescued from a fire on November 15th, passed away. This brings the total death toll to 17 newborns. Initially, 10 babies perished in the blaze that engulfed the neonatal intensive care unit. The remaining infants succumbed to pre-existing conditions.
