India’s top telecom providers, including Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, and Vodafone Idea, experienced a decline in subscribers for the third consecutive month in September following data tariff hikes. Jio’s losses were the most significant, impacting the nation’s mobile broadband user base. Conversely, state-owned BSNL, which didn’t raise prices, gained users.
