The RCMP has identified “Mr. X,” who assisted in testing the bomb weeks before the 1985 Kanishka bombing. Despite identifying him, his name remains undisclosed due to privacy laws, even after his death. This revelation comes as the 40th anniversary of the tragedy approaches, where 329 lives were lost when the Air India flight exploded off the coast of Ireland.
