Devendra Fadnavis was sworn in as Maharashtra’s chief minister for the third time, alongside Ajit Pawar and Eknath Shinde as deputy chief ministers. The BJP secured a majority with allies Shiv Sena and NCP after the November elections, forming the Mahayuti coalition government with 230 seats in the 288-member House.
