India advises its citizens to avoid all travel to Syria due to escalating violence and recommends immediate departure for those currently there. Approximately 90 Indians, including 14 UN workers, are in Syria. The Indian Embassy is in contact with them, ensuring their safety amidst renewed rebel attacks threatening President Assad’s control.
