Microsoft President Brad Smith cautioned that China is rapidly catching up to or surpassing the West in technology. While Microsoft operates in China with government approvals, Smith highlighted restrictions on consumer services. He emphasized that American tech companies can only operate in China if both governments approve their offerings.
