Following a ‘Hindu mahapanchayat’ protesting a mosque in Uttarkashi, the local administration formed a committee to investigate alleged land record discrepancies. The committee, questioning the documents’ authenticity, issued notices to the mosque’s landowners. The landowners submitted their reply and registration documents.
