In Kanchrapara, eight men were arrested for gang-raping a 19-year-old woman and assaulting her husband along railway tracks after the couple was evicted from the station. The incident occurred between 4 am and 5 am, and the accused were apprehended within hours. They were remanded to police custody, with further investigation underway.
