Union minister Hardeep Puri criticised Congress for creating controversies around the last rites of ex-PM Manmohan Singh, accusing them of disrespecting his memory and ethos. BJP members, including Manjinder Singh Sirsa, participated in the ceremonies, while Congress members were absent. Full state and military honours were accorded to Singh.
