In the National T20 Cup semifinal, Iftikhar Ahmed’s exuberant celebration after dismissing Kamran Ghulam, and Salman Butt’s witty commentary comparing it to taking Viv Richards’ wicket, captured attention. Peshawar secured a convincing win with a formidable total of 243 runs, highlighted by Sahibzada Farhan’s 148-run innings. Despite Shahzaib Khan’s effort, Abbottabad fell short at 187/8.
