Rishabh Pant was acquired by the Lucknow Super Giants for a record-breaking Rs 27 crore in the IPL auction, surpassing Mitchell Starc’s previous record. Despite Delhi Capitals using their Right-to-Match card, LSG ultimately secured Pant with their final bid. This move marks Pant’s first time playing for an IPL team other than his hometown team, Delhi.
