‘Raped, acid poured’: Assam woman assaulted in front of children

A 30-year-old woman was brutally raped and had acid thrown on her in front of her two children in Cachar district, Assam. The accused, a 28-year-old neighbor, committed the heinous crime and fled the scene. The victim is currently in critical condition at Silchar Medical College and Hospital.
