In Deoband, a 17-year-old girl and her younger sister were harassed by a group of men who accused them of interacting with a Hindu man. The mob assaulted the girl, forced her to remove her hijab for a video, and snatched her phone. Police arrested one man, Mohd Mehtab, and are searching for others involved in the December 11 incident.
