Tamil Nadu chief minister MK Stalin has urged the central government to withdraw the proposed Waqf amendment bill, stating it would negatively impact minority Muslims. The bill, which has not yet been introduced in the Lok Sabha, has sparked opposition due to concerns it would hinder the Waqf Board’s powers.
