An Ocean County sheriff’s attempt to track a swarm of roughly 50 mysterious drones proved futile. Deployed drones, even industrial grade, were easily evaded by the unidentified UAVs, some observed with eight-foot wingspans trailing a Coast Guard vessel. The drones, lacking heat signatures, prompted notifications to state police, the FBI, and the Coast Guard.
