Despite Donald Trump’s victory in the US presidential election, Kamala Harris has not formally conceded defeat. As Vice President, Harris holds the constitutional responsibility of certifying the election results and declaring the winner. Her scheduled speech on Wednesday night was canceled, with her team stating that votes were still being counted.
